Southern Tier Sports ReportELMIRA — The Horseheads girls’ soccer team got a hat trick from Sydney Blunt in a 5-0 win over Elmira on Friday night.
Blunt had the three goals and Sammie Bonnell and Amaya Abeyaratne each added goals for the Blue Raiders.
“Proud of our group, we fell behind early, continued to play hard and honestly quite well at times,” Elmira coach Zach Sarno said. “We just have to keep our head up and keep working, finishing our chances.”
