Southern Tier Sports ReportMARATHON — The Edison girls’ soccer team played a 1-0 game at the half, before falling at Marathon 3-0 on Friday.
“In a game mainly spent battling for control in the midfield by both teams, Marathon was able to capitalize on three separate opportunities created form set pieces.”
Marathon had nine shots in the game and Edison had five.
Edison is at Watkins Glen on Monday.
