
ELMIRA — The Elmira Express girls’ swimming and diving team picked up a win over Johnson City on Tuesday, 99-69.
Leah Church won four events for the Express on the day.
In the 200 medley relay the Express won in 2:10.63 with a team of Madelyn Cavalier, Maren Novotny, Aubrey Newark and Church.
Newark was second in the 200 free in 2:27.14 followed by Payton Dotts in 2:32.08.
Cavalier was second in the 200 IM in 2:38.90 followed by Jane Hagan in 3:11.93.
Church won the 50 free in 27.87 followed by Novotny in 29.58 and Brooke Cross in 31.09.
Eleanor Hagan won the diving at 137.78 followed by Isadora Cyr at 132.60.
Cavalier won the 100 fly in 1:09.63 followed by Bridget Hagan (1:20.28) and Eleanor Hagan (1:25.39).
Church won the 100 free in 1:03.14 with Cross third in 1:10.17.
Newark won the 500 free in 6:32.32 with Alyssa Murphy third in 7:19.62.
Church, Novotny, Eleanor Hagan and Cavalier won the 200 free relay in 1:58.58.
Dotts had the best time in the 100 back as an exhibition in 1:15.22 followed by Scarlett Hollenbeck (1:19.82) and Alana Brink (1:27.39).
In the 100 breaststroke Novotny had the second best time as an exhibition in 1:25.66 followed by Murphy (1:37.44).
In the 400 free relay Newark, Bridget Hagan, Dotts and Hollenbeck had the best time as an exhibition in 4:44.13.
