WAVERLY — The Corning boys’ basketball team won the title at the Waverly Summer League on Wednesday night.

In the quarterfinals Waverly beat Towanda 35-25 and Candor beat Athens 33-21. Corning beat Wyalusing 58-27 and Wellsboro beat Troy 46-40.

Corning won their semifinal 48-33 over Wellsboro and Candor beat Waverly 36-32. In the final Corning beat Candor 49-36.
