ELMIRA — The Elmira LPC 10u all-star team rallied for an 11-10 win over Elmira Heights in Little League action on Sunday morning in seven innings.
Both teams scored runs in the first, before Elmira Heights scored three in the third to lead 4-1 entering the fifth.
Heights scored four in the fifth and Elmira scored three as Heights led 8-4.
Elmira Heights scored a run in the sixth to go up 9-4 with three outs left, but Elmira scored five times to tie things then scored two in the seventh to win the game by a run.
Kingston Janesky had two hits, with a triple, and two RBI and Lincoln West had two doubles, three RBI and a run scored.
Jabari Lee had two hits, with a double, two RBI and a run scored and Aidan Constable had a hit and scored a run, while La’Ron Barkley had a hit and two runs scored.
Jerrimiah Cicci had a hit and Jahzen Gotham scored two runs, while Gabe Milo, Brody Evans and Lukas Wenck all scored runs.
Wenck struck out four in 2 1/3 innings and Milo got four outs, all by strikeout, not allowing a run. Bryiden Seymour had five strikeouts in two innings and Constable struck out three in 1 1/3 innings as Elmira LPC struck out 16 Heights hitters.
Lucas Burrell struck out seven in four innings for Heights and Ernie Danker struck out three in 1 1/3 innings and Landon Burrell struck out one in an inning.
Landon White had three hits, with a double, four RBI and a run scored and Landon Burrell had three hits, with a double, an RBI and a run scored.
Lucas Burrell had two hits, with a double, and scored two runs.
Danker had a hit, an RBI and three runs scored and Braxton Vogt, Matteo Landon and Killian Simmons had hits in the game.
