STAC SOFTBALL: CORNING, ELMIRA, HORSEHEADS ALL HAVE PLAYERS ON CONFERENCE ALL-STAR TEAMS (2025-06-23)

After two of the three area teams made the state semifinals, Horseheads, Corning and Elmira all have players on this year’s STAC all-conference softball team.

The West/Metro All-Conferene team includes Corning pitcher Matti Johnston and Horseheads’ pitcher/first baseman Raegan Burge and pitcher/shortstop Megan Wolf.

Corning third baseman Sophie Schoonover; Horseheads’ third baseman Caitlin Yearick and Elmira shortstop Addison Taft and Corning shortstop Kendall Curreri are all on the all-conference team.

The West all-division team includes three area eighth graders: Elmira pitcher Marley Devlin; Horseheads shortstop/second baseman Sam Bonnell and Corning utility player Emelia Smith.

The team also includes Horseheads pitcher/second baseman Chloe Perritt; Corning first baseman Daphne Sherman; Elmira first baseman Madison Smith; Corning second baseman Kayleigh Sparks; Elmira third baseman Addisyn Chorney; Corning outfielder Lauren Teribury; Elmira outfielder Ava Sherman; and Horseheads outfielders Grace Cronin and Aubrey Howe.
