Southern Tier Sports ReportCAMPBELL — Luke Richards struck out 14 and Notre Dame scored an eighth inning run to beat Campbell-Savona 2-1 in eight innings on Monday.
Richards went seven innings, allowing two hits and an unearned run, striking out 14. Jhamez Boyde threw a scoreless inning, allowing one hit.
In the eighth Anthony Barkley singled and Richards grounded out, moving Barkley to second. After another out was recorded Barkley stole third and scored on an error.
Barkley, Casey Kraeger, Boyd and Richards had hits in the game. Sebastian Capriotti scored the other run in the game and Kraeger had an RBI.
