
CORNING — The Corning Hawks baseball team got a four-hitter from Kyle Miller as they edged Elmira 1-0 at Corning Community College on Wednesday.
It’s the third time in the past four games Elmira lost 1-0. Elmira also won a 2-0 game in that stretch.
Miller struck out seven in the game. Miller also had two hits in the game and Johnny Graham drove in Reilly Wells, who walked, for the game’s only run. Ryan Price had a hit for Corning.
Aedan Palmer struck out eight and allowed a run on four hits for Elmira. Quinn Hanrahan, Palmer, Noah Cain and Ryan Mathews had hits for Elmira.
