Southern Tier Sports ReportELMIRA — Landon Cook had six goals and Noah Hughes had five as the Elmira boys’ lacrosse team beat Union-Endicott 14-9 on Monday.
Arius Bradbury scored just seconds into the game for the Express as they got off to a 4-0 lead to begin the game, before U-E came back and tied things after one quarter.
Ryan Ferraro and DJ Noonan each had a goal as the Express closed out the win and Ayvre Traugott-Knoll had three assists.
Tucker Burnett and Nolan Vorhees both had assists for Elmira and Kasin Shoemaker won 22 face-offs on the day.
Liam Ogden had seven saves in goal for Elmira.
Owen DuBrava had four goals for U-E and Larkin Bianco finished with three goals and an assist.
Anthony DeMarco had a goal and two assists and Nick Farr finished with a goal.
Preston Brailsford had 12 saves in goal for U-E.
