Southern Tier Sports ReportSPENCER — Drew Slaven had a big day on the mound and Dylan Beam had three hits at the plate as the Edison baseball team beat SVEC 5-3 on Monday afternoon.
Slaven threw a two-hitter, allowing no walks and no earned runs, striking out five.
Beam was 3-for-4 and Niko Cheplick had two hits.
Zach Piper, Slaven, Caden Collier and Jace Schiller had hits in the game.
