
ELMIRA — Elmira baseball won a pitcher’s duel as they topped Union-Endicott 2-0 on Friday afternoon.
After a pair of 1-0 losses in a row to Horseheads, the Express came out on the winning side of a close game this time. Elmira has allowed just two runs in the past three games.
Logan Demember threw the complete game, striking out 11 and allowing three hits.
Demember also had two hits and scored the run on a hit by Aeden Palmer as the Express also had three hits in the game.
