Southern Tier Sports ReportELMIRA HEIGHTS — The Edison softball team stayed unbeaten with a 12-0 win over Lansing on Wednesday afternoon.
Kailey Ripley went all five innings, tossing a one-hitter and striking out 11.
Aurora Parlo, Ripley and Tayler Burdick had two hits each for Edison in the game.
Parlo had a run scored, Burdick had two RBI and a run scored and Ripley drove in two runs.
Emily Aiello and Cierra Davis each had hits for the Spartans. Both scored runs and Davis had an RBI.
Carissa Cowan scored a run and had an RBI, Maycie Bennett scored two runs and Bella Moffe, Rosie Wheeler and Charlee Stroman each scored runs in the game.
