
SOUTHPORT — The Notre Dame softball team won for the second straight night, topping Whitney Point 10-7 on Wednesday.
Layla Sullivan struck out five in six innings and Kayleigh Ayres pitched the final inning.
Sullivan had three hits and five RBI and Emma Mallare had a triple and scored two runs.
Ayres had two hits and walked twice and Danasia Thompkins, Sadie Potter and Lylie Colunio all had hits in the game.
Notre Dame is 5-4 on the year and they host Dryden on Monday.
