Southern Tier Sports ReportElmira graduate Sarah Coon had two home runs ands even RBI in a weekend series against Syracuse.
Coon had a grand slam in the first game and then a three-run home run in the final game . Virginia won all three games.
Coon is hitting .256 this year with a .353 on-base. She has six home runs, fifth on the team, and 22 RBI on the year. She has five doubles and three triples. She’s scored 19 runs, playing in all 43 games with 42 starts.
Coon has 25 career home runs and is one RBI away from 100 for her career. She also has 25 career doubles.
