
For the fourth time this year Corning graduate Maddy Gill scored at least five goals in a game, and for the third time she scored an overtime game-winner for Niagara University.
Gill had five of Niagara’s nine goals, including the overtime winner as Niagara beat Rider 9-8.
Gill also had five goals against St. Bonaventure and Marquette and eight goals against Central Michigan.
Gill has scored multiple goals in each of the past four goals, with three against Merrimack, two goals and an assist against Canisius and a pair of goals against Iona. Niagara has won three of the past four games.
Gill has scored points in all but one game this year and goals in all but two games on the year.
Gill has 36 goals this year, She leads the team in goals and points (39). She’s second in the conference in goals.
