Southern Tier Sports ReportELMIRA — The Elmira and Horseheads flag football teams hit the field for a scrimmage at Elmira College on Monday night.
Playing on Elmira College Campus Field that just got turf last year, the two teams took part in a scrimmage put on by Elmira College, that has a flag football team at the college level for the first time this year.
Elmira and Horseheads both kick off the season’s on Wednesday with Horseheads at Maine-Endwell and Elmira at Union-Endicott.
