Southern Tier Sports ReportThere were a lot of great performances this week, leading to some tough choices for the athlete of the week honors. In the end, it was Corning’s Brenden Jardin-Reed and Notre Dame’s Makenna Keough who are the Southern Tier Sports Report, sponsored by Drake HVAC Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning, Athletes of the Week.

Corning diving
Had a score of 635.80 at sectionals to break the Section 4 11-dive record along with the school and Elmira pool record at the sectional championships.
Makenna Keough
ND track and field
Qualified for states in the long jump, triple jump and 100 hurdles at the state qualifier meet.
