IAC BOYS' BASKETBALL: ND BOYS TOP MARATHON IN OT FOR 5TH STRAIGHT VICTORY (2025-02-18)

SOUTHPORT — The Notre Dame boys’ basketball team won their fifth straight game on Tuesday, topping Marathon 58-52 in overtime.  

Notre Dame trailed 19-15 after one quarter, but tied the game at 29 at the half.

The Crusaders went behind by four entering the fourth, but outscored Marathon 10-6 in the fourth and 11-5 in the overtime period to get the win.

Finn Schweizer had 14 points for Notre Dame, 10 in the first half, and Max O’Connor had 12 points, four in the fourth and four more in overtime.

Gabe Patterson had 10 points, with four in overtime, and Menelik Jenkins and Landon English each had seven points. Jenkins had three between the fourth quarter and overtime.

Rocco Sayers and Luke Richards each had four points.
