SOUTHPORT — The Notre Dame girls’ basketball team beat Lansing 55-32 on senior night Monday.
Kalysta DeMark had 17 points, with three threes for the Crusaders. All of her points came in the second half, with all the threes and 11 points in the third quarter.
Paytyon Sutryk had 13 points, with 11 in the second half, and Leah O’Connell had 11 points, with three threes. She had eight points in the fourth quarte.r
Molly O’Connell had five points and Jhamariah Maxwell finished with four points.
Emily Coseo had three points and Sadie Potter had two points.
DeMark had five rebounds and an assist, with three steals.
Coseo had three rebounds and four assists, with a steal.
Leah O’Connell had a double-double with 10 boards, an assist and four steals and Molly O’Connell had five rebounds and two steals.
Sutryk had eight rebounds, three assists and two steals and Maxwell had eight rebounds, five steals and two assists.
It was a low-scoring game with Notre Dame up 12-10 at the half. Notre Dame trailed 8-4 after one quarter before holding Lansing to two second-quarter points.
Notre Dame scored 43 second-half points, outscoring Lansing 23-10 in the third.
