ELMIRA HEIGHTS — Payton Sutryk had 21 points as the Notre Dame girls’ basketball team beat Edison 57-43 on Friday night.
Sutryk had the 21 points and six rebounds, along with three assists, two steals and two blocked shots. She had six points in the first quarter and 15 points in the second half, hitting all three of her fourth-quarter free throws.
Emily Coseo and Kalysta DeMark had 10 points each for Notre Dame in the game.
Jhamariah Maxwell had seven points, Leah O’Connell had six points, on a pair of second-quarter threes, and Molly O’Connell had two points.
Mali Huffner had 17 points for Edison and Charlee Stroman had 15 pionts, with three threes.
Matteson Brush had five points and Kailey Ripley had four points, while Addison Vendzules had two points.
Maxwell had 11 rebounds, an assist and two steals and DeMark had nine assists, seven rebounds and two steals.
Coseo had four rebounds, an assist and a blocked shot and Leah O’Connell had three rebounds, a steal and a blocked shot.
Molly O’Connell had two rebounds, two assists and a steal.
