Southern Tier Sports ReportTIOGA — The Elmira girls’ wrestling team wrestled a tri-meet on Wednesday night, falling to Tioga 40-25 and Waverly 28-27.
Against Waverly the Express got a win at 235 from Mackenzee Davis, who won by technical fall 10-0 in 2:41 over Savannah Savercool.
Elmira’s Alexis Collins (94) and Emily Moldt (152) had forfeit wins.
Josalyn Irvin had a pin at 114 in 2:14 overSydney Rosenbloom and at 132 Savannah Hartford won by technical fall 10-0 in 1:22 over Faith Hyjek. Atlantis Cherry won 9-1 over Abi Reedy at 138.
Against Tioga the Express got forfeit wins fry Collins (94), Alea Hartford (100) and Xoie Barr (185).
Irvin had a pin in 1:59 over Alyson Chamberlain at 114 and Davis had a pin in 2:40 over Lilly Mezzatesta at 235.
