ELMIRA HEIGHTS — Mali Huffner had 21 points, but the Edison girls’ basketball team fell to Lansing on Tuesday, 49-42.
Lansing led 17-9 after one quarter and 27-13 at the half, before Edison scored 29 second-half points in the game.
Huffner had five free throws in the first quarter, before having a huge fourth quarter, scoring 14 points with three threes.
Addison Vendzules had nine points and Charlee Stroman had eight points in the game, all of them in the third quarter, with a pair of threes.
Maycie Bennett and Camden Hoffmann finished with two points each in the game.
