CORNING — A three-pointer by Autumn Snell with 1:11 left in the game helped the Corning Christian beat 35-33 on Monday night.

Kayla Hancock had put Corning Christian up one with just over two minutes left, but Port City quickly responded to go up one, before Snell hit the winner.

Maren Benjamin had 10 points for Corning Christian, six in the first quarter and four in the fourth.

Bella Machlauchlan had eight points, with a pair of threes, for the Lions and Lilly Maclauchlan had five points.

Hancock had six points and Snell finished with four in the game. Grace Young finished with two points.

Corning Christian led 15-6 after one quarter and 22-12 at the half. But, Port City outscored the Lions 14-2 in the third to go up 26-24 entering the fourth quarter. The Lions outscored Port City 11-7 in the fourth.
