IAC BOYS' BASKETBALL: ND HITS 12 THREES, BUT IS EDGED LATE BY DRYDEN (2025-01-08)

DRYDEN — The Notre Dame boys’ basketball team was edged by Dryden on Wednesday night, 60-57.

The game was tied at the half, and the Crusaders took a two-point lead after three quarters, before Dryden held the Crusaders to 10 fourth-quarter points.

Luke Richards had 21 points for Notre Dame. He had five threes, four in the third quarter. Richards scored 14 third-quarter points in the game. He was 4-for-4 from the free throw line.

Max O’Connor had 10 points, with a pair of threes, Finn Schweizer had eight points, with two threes and Gabe Patterson had seven points, with a three, and Pat McCarthy hit two threes. Both of Schweizer’s threes were in the opening quarter.

Manelik Jenkins had four points and Landon English had one point.

Notre Dame hit 12 threes as a team in the game.

Peter Nydam led Dryden with 21 points and Alexander Scott had 18 points, while Daniel Murphy III had 14 points.
