The Edison boys’ basketball team made the trip to Troy on Wednesday for a scrimmage as they prepare for the season.

The Spartans are coming off a shortened season last spring as they prepare for a more normal start to this basketball season.

The Spartans next host Newfield at 10 a.m. Saturday in a scrimmage.

The boys open the season at the Lansing Tip-off Tournament on Dec. 3.
