
Notre Dame graduate Makenzie Gillette had a record-breaking weekend for the Alfred State swimming and diving team.
On Saturday Gillette broke the school record in the prelims of the 200 fly in 2:33.18. In the final she swam a 2:35.06 to take 10th at the Oberlin Invitational.
On Friday Gillette teamed with Alyssa James, Mikaela Snayczuk and Madison Snayczuk to break the school record in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:53.55 that placed them fourth in the event. The same four swimmers took fifth int he 800 free relay in 8:29.09.
