HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS' TENNIS: HORSEHEADS WINS IN 2ND DOUBLES IN LOSS TO U-E (2024-09-10)

The Horseheads tennis team got a win in second doubles, but fell to Union-Endicott 6-1 recently.

Horseheads’ Kate Rought and Paige Stevens won at second doubles 6-7 (4-7), 7-5, 1-0 (10-7) for the Blue Raiders.

In first singles U-E’s Giada Circensi won 6-0, 6-1 over Anika Kamaraju and at second singles Melanie Scalcione won 6-0, 6-1 over Sarah Staats.

In third singles Aubrey Salati won 6-2, 6-2 over Ava Wing and at fourth singles Stella Diamantakos won 6-2, 6-2 over Miley Darmstadt.

In first doubles Maria De Nardis and Kamryn Cook won 6-2, 6-1 for U-E over Lucie Mckenzie and Sofia Johnson.

In third doubles U-E’s Sara Myers and Isabella O’Brien won 6-2, 6-2 over Kaitlyn Soper and Isabella Liddle.
