Southern Tier Sports ReportELMIRA — The Elmira Express vollleyball team kicked off the season with a sweep of Union-Endicott on Thursday night.
Elmira won the match 25-18, 25-20, 25-19.
Hannah Mathews and Kylie Leonberger each had six assists in the match and Madi Jones had eight kills.
Addy Chorney was 15-for-17 serving with four aces and Jones was 14-for-16 with eight aces.
Ava Dennard finished with five digs in the match.
