HIGH SCHOOL BOYS' LACROSSE: EIGHT LOCAL ATHLETES EARN ALL-STATE HONORS (2024-08-09)

Eight local players from four area schools earned all-state boys’ lacrosse honors.

The highest all-state selection was Elmira’s Sam Brenen-Buseck, who was a second-team goalie in Class A.

Corning’s AJ Thomas was a third-team defender in Class A and Elmira’s Ryan Stukey was a sixth-team pick on attack. Corning’s Dom Dinardo was an eighth-team midfielder.

Horseheads’ Griffin Stevens was a fifth-team midfielder in Class B and teammate Braden Woodworth was a sixth-team pick at attack, while Horseheads’ Andrew Potter was an eighth-team goalie.

In Class D Finn Schweizer of Notre Dame was a fifth-team midfielder.
