CORNING'S ABEL TIED FOR 7TH AFTER FIRST ROUND OF WOMEN'S JUNIOR PGA CHAMPIONSHIP (2024-07-30)

BATHESDA, MD. — Corning’s Delaney Abel is tied for seventh after the first round of the women’s Junior PGA Championship at Congressional Country Club.

Abel shot a round of 2-under 69 on the gold course. Abelwho will be going into her freshman year at Corning, was one of 13 players who shot under par on the opening day.
