Southern Tier Sports ReportNORTH STAFFORD, VA. — The Horseheads football team scored four runs in the fourth inning as they picked up a 6-2 win at North Stafford in a trip to Virginia on Monday afteroon.
North Stafford led 1-0 in the first and both teams had runs in the third, before the big inning for the Blue Raiders.
Emelia Clark had a home run and two hits, three RBI and a run scored.
Sophia Bonnell had a 3-for-4 day with an RBI and Chloe Perritt and Raegan Burge each had doubles in the game. Perritt had an RBI and two runs scored and Burge scored a run.
Megan Wolf and Olivia French each had hits in the game.
Wolf scored a run and French had an RBI.
Kailey McCormick scored a run for Horseheads.
Perritt threw the complete game for Horseheads, allowing four hits and two runs, one earned, striking out seven, while walking just one.
