Ashaya Wallace had five points and Kaitlyn Wagner had four. Makayla Robideaux had three points and Alyivia Woodruff had two points.

“There’s no moral victories,” Elmira coach A’Don Allen said. “A loss is a loss, but I can’t express how proud I am of the girls with the fight. It was a 22-point lead (by Horseheads) and we could have folded, but to cut the lead to five, and have a chance in the end is all we could ask for. We have a lot to build on and take away for the rest of the season.”
