ELMIRA — Elmira kept things close throughout the game, but a big fourth-quarter was the difference as Bishop Kearney topped the Express 62-49.

Elmira was down just one after one quarter at 16-15, and it was still a one-point game at the half at 25-24.

Kearney led 40-35 after three quarters, before scoring 22 fourth-quarter points to seal the win.

Elmira got 18 points from Ellie Clearwater, who had three threes, two rebounds, an assist and a steal and Caitlyn Wagner had 13 points and eight boards.

Mariah Matias had seven points and 14 boards and Ashaya Wallace had five points, four boards, two assists and two steals and Alyvia Woodruff had four points.

Addison Taft had two points and two rebounds.

Adrianna Kennedy had 18 points and seven boards for Kearney and Klarrisa Goode had 16 points and three boards.

Asia Wilson had 15 points and Allie Hall had 13 points and 13 boards.
