Southern Tier Sports ReportVESTAL — Horseheads had three players score in double figures as they topped Vestal 51-32 on Thursday night.
Jack Fesetch hit five threes for 15 points in the game. He had three threes in the opening quarter as Horseheads jumped out to a 15-2 lead after one quarter.
Alex Daugherty had 12 points in the game, eight of them coming in the third quarter and all 12 coming in the second half.
After Vestal got within 26-18 at the half, Daugherty’s eight third-quarter points helped the Blue Raiders lead by 13 after three.
Mason Holloway had 11 points, including six in the first quarter, and John Durr had five points in the game.
Maddox Hughey had four points for Horseheads and Dom Russ had two points, while Brayden Kelly and Miles Woodhouse had a point each.
