Southern Tier Sports ReportHORSEHEADS — The Horseheads boys’ basketball team got within five in the fourth quarter, but fell to Union-Endicott 63-48 on Tuesday night.
Horseheads trailed 29-22 at the half and 42-31 after three quarters, but they made a run to get within five in the fourth, before the Tigers put the game away.
Alex Daugherty led Horseheads with 13 points, while Mason Holloway had 10 points, with two threes, and Dom Russ finished with nine points, including two threes.
Jack Fesetch had eight points, with two threes, and John Durr had six points, while Maddox Hughey finished with two points.
Cooper Hughes led Union-Endicott with 15 points and Davian King had 13, while Joey Gennarelli finished with 12 points.
