Southern Tier Sports ReportCORNING — Sam Masaki earned medalist honors as the Corning golf team edged Ithaca 226-228 at Corning Country Club for their second win of the year.
Masaki led the Hawks with a 41 and Carter Smithmen shot a 45, while Ethan Ford and Trevor Bois each had rounds of 46.
Bryce Clark shot a 48 and Dom Dinardo had a round of 56.
Heitt Gao and Griffin Levine led Ithaca with rounds of 45 and Sam Harris, Ruby Shaw and Blake Carlisle each had rounds of 46, while Oscar Griffin shot 49.
