ELMIRA — The Soaring Eagles capped off their three-game home stand Saturday afternoon against the Penn College Wildcats. After a scoreless first half, a Wildcats' long-range shot found the back of the net in the 48th minute to put them ahead. The Soaring Eagles could not find an equalizer, falling by a final score of 1-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The first half finished in a scoreless draw as Elmira's three shots were unable to find the back of the net.• The first blow came at the start of the second half when Penn College forward Kaelynn Sheetz's long-range effort found the top right corner of the goal, putting the Wildcats up 1-0.
• Despite six shots on goal, the Soaring Eagles could not net one of their own as the game finished in a 1-0 loss for the Purple and Gold.
• Goalkeeper Nevaeh Winston '25 played all 90 minutes and registered seven saves.
• Tierney Krawczyk '27 led the team with four shots on goal.
