Southern Tier Sports ReportA pair of Elmira graduates are playing for nationally-ranked Saint Rose’s women’s soccer team.
Alexus and Caylee Boorse are both seeing time for St. Rose, which is unbeaten on the year at 9-0-2 and ranked 12th in the nation.
In their most recent game, a 2-0 win over American International, both players saw action on defense.
Alexus has played in seven games this year, with two shots, and Caylee has played in five games this season.
In high school Alexus was a three-time STAC all-star her final three seasons with the Express and Caylee was an all-state selection in soccer, and team MVP her senior season. She also set the school record in lacrosse with 107 career goals.
