COLLEGE WOMEN'S SOCCER: ELMIRA GRAD OLDROYD NETS GOAL AND ASSIST IN LIU WIN (2021-10-10)

Southern Tier Sports Report
The LIU women's soccer team won their second straight game on Sunday and Elmira grad Kendra Oldroyd was a big part of the reason why.

Oldroyd was in on both goals in a 2-0 win over Merrimack, scoring one goal and assisting on the other.

After starting the year 0-6-2, LIU has won two straight, beating Mount St. Mary's on Thursday before Sunday's victory.

Oldroyd comes off the bench for LIU, but she leads the team in goals and points this season. She has netted three goals, and one assist, for seven points, in just six games this season. What's more impressive is she has three goals on just four shots on goal this year.

While Oldroyd comes off the bench for LIU, she has played at least 34 minutes in each game she's been in this year, and she tied her season high with 52 minutes against Merrimack.
