Southern Tier Sports ReportMUDVILLE — The Notre Dame softball team went 1-1 on the day at the annual Mudville Tournament.
In a game against Keshequa the Crusaders got a three-hit shutout from Olivia Switzer. Switzer struck out 10 in the game.
Lawson Bigelow had a home run among her two hits, with two RBI on the day. It was Bigelow’s second home run in two days.
Shannon Maloney was 2-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored and Payton Miller was 2-for-3 with an RBI. Miller had a double and scored two runs.
Ava Mustico had a double, two RBI and a run scored. Switzer had a hit and a run scored and Meg Again had a hit and two RBI.
Maddie Fargo had a hit and scored a run and Layla Sullivan scored a run.
In the other game Notre Dame fell to Camden 5-0.
Miller had two hits and Switzer, Bigelow and Maloney had hits in the game.
Switzer struck out three on the mound.
