
ELMIRA — The Notre Dame girls’ bowling team got a huge series from Jade Nordin, but fell to Union-Springs, while the boys had just two bowlers on the day.
The girls shot 749, 693 and 692 for a 2,134, while Union Springs shot 808, 861 and 815 for a 2,484.
Nordin shot a 639 series, shooting games of 237, 216 and 186 on the day.
Ashlyn Stitley shot 144-135-147-426 and Jillian Whittaker shot 147-113-131-391.
Lucy Nanda shot 111-121-140-372, while Elizabeth Kreager shot 110-108-88-306 and Abigail Miller shot 85-81-69-235.
Bethany Jump shot 162-213-163-538 to lead Union Springs.
For the boys Notre Dame had a pair of bowlers. Cameron Neidrich shot 114-147-107-368 and Owen Neidrich shot 102-125-140-367.
Matthew Howell led Union Springs, who had just four bowlers on the day, with a 243-179-243-665.
