WAVERLY — The Edison boys’ basketball team headed to Waverly to play in summer league basketball games in the Waverly Summer League.

The Spartans are one of 11 teams competing in the varsity division.

Along with Edison in the division are Waverly, Watkins Glen, Trumansburg, Towanda, Mansfield, Candor, Athens, Tioga and Troy, along with Elmira’s JV team.

In the JV division Edison is in with Waverly, Watkins Glen, Athens, Troy, Mansfield, Candor, Towanda and Owego.
