H.S. TRACK AND FIELD: REYNOLDS WINS 2 EVENTS, THREE OTHERS TAKE TITLES FOR ELMIRA AT FAST TIMES INVITE (24 PHOTOS) (2022-05-14)

CORNING — Natasia Reynolds won a pair of events and three other Elmira athletes brought home titles at the Corning Fast Times Invite on Friday.

Natasia Reynolds (96-feet, 7-inches) and Ashleigh Bertelsen (91-feet) went 1-2 in the discus and Reynolds won the shot put at 28-feet, 3 3/4-inches with Bertelsen fifth at 26-feet, 2 1/2-inches.

Ana (Vicky) Mordvinova won the 1500 in 4:43.83 and Zalayna Brown won the 100 hurdles in 17.23.

Piper Hooey won the triple jump at 33-feet, 5 1/4-inches.

For the boys, in the 100 Matthew DeMott took fourth in 11.89 followed by George Johnson Jr. in 12.18.

Nasir King was third in the 800 in 2:05.47 followed by Caleb Belanger (2:07.77).

Amelio Casciotti took fourth in the 110 hurdles in 18.88 and in the 400 throwers relay the Express took third in 1:00.75 and they won the 3200 relay in 8:50.54.

William Jackson Jr. took second in the high jump at 5-feet, 10-inches and he was fourth in the long jump at 17-feet, 6 3/4-inches.

Andrew Degnan Jr. was third in the pole vault at 9-feet, 6-inches followed by Maciej Ziembecki at the same height and Brady Keefe at 9-feet.

Cal Marks was second in the discus at 124-feet followed by Alex McKerrow at 113-feet, 2-inches and in the shot put Marks was second at 43-feet, 10 3/4-inches while McKerrow took sixth at 41-feet, 8 1/2-inches.

Ja’Nyah Harris was fifth in the girls’ 100 in 13.94 and Ella Devlin was fourth in the 800 in 2:41.90.

In the 3200 relay Elmira’s girls took third at 11:34.20.

Annah Stearns was second in the long jump at 14-feet, 5-inches followed by Brown at 14-feet, 4 1/4-inches. Stearns was fourth in the triple jump at 29-feet, 8 3/4-inches.

Gillian Dykes was fifth in the pole vault at 6-feet, 6-inches.
