SOUTHPORT — Lawson Bigelow crushed a monster grand slam as the Notre Dame softball team beat Waverly 10-2 on Thursday afternoon.
Bigelow hit a drive that made it all the way to the school to help lead the Crusaders to the win, which pushed their record to 11-4 on the year.
Payton Miller had three hits for Notre Dame.
Olivia Switzer struck out eight on the mound for Notre Dame, allowing no earned runs. She also went 2-for-4 at the plate, driving in two runs.
Ava Mustico had two hits with an RBI for the Crusaders.
Maddie Gleason had a hit and two RBI for Notre Dame.
