MYRTLE BEACH — The Notre Dame softball team picked up a win in Myrtle Beach on Wednesday, beating Chesterfield out of South Carolina 11-1.
The team had played a pair of scrimmages, before Wednesday’s first official game of the trip.
Olivia Switzer went 4-for-4 with a triple and three RBI for the Crusaders and she struck out four and allowed no earned run son the mound.
Payton Miller had two hits, with a triple and two RBI and Lawson Bigelow had two hits, with a double and an RBI.
Izzy Griffin had two hits, with a double and two RBI and Paige Harvey finished with two hits and scored three runs.
