12U LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL: HORSEHEADS USES 2 THREE-RUN INNINGS TO TOP BIG FLATS(July 1, 2026) Southern Tier Sports Report HORSEHEADS — The Horseheads 12u baseball team picked up a 6-2 win over Big Flats to wrap up group play on Wednesday night.
In other games on Wednesday Corning-Painted Post won 11-0 over Elmira/LPC/Heights and Bath won 11-1 over Waverly.
Big Flats struck first with two runs in the top of the first. Horseheads answered with three in the bottom of the first and never trailed again. Horseheads added three runs in the fourth to seal the win.
Kaidan Rijo threw a complete game for Horseheads, allowing two runs, one earned, on one hit in six innings. He struck out six.
Rijo had two hits and scored two runs in the game.
Jesse Schuyler had two hits with two runs scored and Eli Hillard had two hits, with a double, three RBI and two runs scored.
Brendon Drew had a hit and Eli Pirozzolo had a hit and an RBI.
Ricky Graham went the distance for Big Flats, striking out six.
Mantle Hyjck had the hit for Big Flats, and he scored a run. Graham scored the other run in the game.
