WAVERLY — Elmira got the equalizing goal that led them to overtime on Saturday, but in the end they were edged 2-1 in the regional final.

Down 1-0 after Guilderland scored off a corner kick, the Express tied the game on a Luca Capilli penalty kick.

The game stayed tied until 9:08 left in the second overtime when Guilderland got the game-winner off a throw-in.
