CORNING — The Corning Hawks JV volleyball team won their fourth straight STAC Championship, rallying back from 13-7 down in the third set to top Vestal and finish the year a perfect 15-0.

Corning won 25-17, then Vestal won 25-23. Vestal led 13-7, when Corning reeled off eight straight points on their way to a 25-17 win in the third set.

Sophie Schoonover had seven kills, 15 digs and 10 points and Abbey McLaughlin had five kills, two blocks, three digs, two aces and five points.

Mia Madden had 25 digs, an assist, two aces and 10 points and Reagan Terwilliger had five kills, 17 digs, an ace and six points.

Alexa Topper had 17 assists, 11 digs and two points and Hannah Kauffman had five digs, four aces and 10 points.
