BOYS' BASKETBALL: CORNING CLAIMS TITLE AT WAVERLY SUMMER LEAGUE (8 PHOTOS)(July 23, 2025) Southern Tier Sports Report WAVERLY — The Corning boys’ basketball team won the title at the Waverly Summer League on Wednesday night.
In the quarterfinals Waverly beat Towanda 35-25 and Candor beat Athens 33-21. Corning beat Wyalusing 58-27 and Wellsboro beat Troy 46-40.
