ELMIRA HEIGHTS — Edison scored seven in the third and five in the fourth on their way to a 12-0 win over Notre Dame on Tuesday.
The Crusaders won the IAC Large School South title this year.
Rosie Wheeler threw a two hitter, striking out nine and walking none.
Aurora Parlo, Emily Aiello and Carissa Cowan all had two hits for Edison. Both of Aiello’s hits were doubles, and she scored two runs, while driving in a run.
Cowan had four RBI and a run scored and Parlo had two RBI and a run scored.
Charlee Stroman had a triple, with two RBI and a run scored and Maycie Bennett, Kailey Ripley, Wheeler and Taylar Burdick all had hits in the game.
Bennett had an RBI and two runs scored and Ripley scored two runs. Wheeler had two RBI and Burdick scored a run, while Payton Gibbs scored two runs.
